There's Something about Mary

Stories and thoughts about my time as a Peace Corps volunteer in Moldova

Craft Club

I think I am going to make a once a month arts and craft club.  I have been reading lots of blogs and getting ideas, but would love more, or supplies or suggestions (Heidi Fay, I am talking to you :)).

I am only required to work about 20 hours a week, and I am suppose to fill up my schedule with secondary projects, this one sounds much more fun to me than an English club, which I will probably start soon too.

Noapte buna!

Hi, I'm Mary. I am orignally from Spokane Wash., where I lived for 20 years of my life. I went to school in Bellingham Wash, at Western Washington University and graduated with a degree in Business Administration. In June 2011, I moved to Moldova for the Peace Corps. In the Peace Corps, I am an Agribusiness and Rural Development Volunteer, and live in a town called Riscani, which is about 3 hours northwest of the capital city. I love Moldova, but there are somedays where I really miss all my friends and family in the States! Email me if you have more questions!

  1. Can it been an English/Crafting club? Where people can come to practice their English AND make pretty crafty things? 🙂

Are you on Pinterest, my love? We need to get you on there so I can share my favorite crafty pins with you and you can find more great ideas for this super fun club! I’m very excited about this! Such a cool thing to do! 🙂

    • My club can be whatever I want it to be. I am thinking of also doing one for English, just because I am not sure how many boys would want to go to my craft club. And no, I am not on Pinterest, so yes, you need to get me on there. I have some ideas through Stumbleupon, but will need more. 🙂

Oh, and the club won’t start till at least mid-October. I have to go to 2 weeks of training at the end of September.
