This picture really doesn't show how wet I was, but now everyone can see my pretty face 😉

Mother nature did it again today, and silly/stubborn me still has yet to buy an umbrella.  I saw them Sunday at the piata (outdoor market) and thought; I should really buy one, but then kept walking.  Today at around 2 pm my partner opened the blinds and I am pretty sure said how it was going to rain.  (she only speaks Romanian)  I went “da, da” it was grey outside, getting kind of windy.  I should have just gone home at that point.  She asked me if I had an umbrella, no, I replied, I didn’t bring one. A little after 3 she asked if I wanted to go home before it started raining since I don’t have an umbrella, “da,” I was working so hard playing spider solitaire anyway.  I turned off my computer, walked outside and it started.  I hesitated, used the ATM then stood under the entryway of the building hoping that it would stop.  I was wrong.  I waited for about 10 minutes, and then decided just to bear through it.  I walked the 20+ minute walk home, luckily didn’t fall (I was wearing my oh, so sturdy flip-flops), slipped once, and didn’t get splashed by any traffic!  Go me!!  I made it home feeling like I had just taken a shower in my clothing.  Miine, eu voi cumpara umbrella, (Tomorrow I will buy an umbrella).
